By the Month

From the book "Quiet" by @susancainauthor. I'm used to being told I need to talk more and get pressured to say more. I don't think so. Are you considered too quiet as well? Some new work 🎨 Cheers to a new week! Cherishing this sweet moment ❀ as she enjoys her awesome table from @sprout_kids. I look forward to future finger painting days on it. Bits and pieces of June a new segment for my art letter, sent today. I'm drawing some inspiration from real life for some new illustrations. πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— Thanks @babyktan for making mom life a bit easier 😍 Today I finished the thumbnails for a 24 page picture book. I have many tucked away in a sparkly pink box but never shared them. I think I feel ready to share them. This story is inspired by something I want my daughter to remember no matter what happens. That is: how much she is loved. πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— I hope you get a nice weekend. My love does shine brighter than the sun but making this drawing was not sunshine and rainbows lol!! She finds joy in kicking my arms as I draw πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ It is strengthening my ability to keep a steadier hand AND draw quicker!!!! No more dillidalying for me. Trying to grow some positivity with some local strawberries and basil this summer. Hopefully we will have some berries to harvest by the time the little one can eat solid foods πŸ“πŸŒ±πŸƒ Playing with hair styles.
